Solidarity of Faith
Adopted by the Board of Regents, 09/26/2025
Omega Graduate School is a social research institution with a faith-based orientation. OGS is non-sectarian and not a seminary; we welcome students and faculty from diverse traditions. We strive to be a “safe place to think,” where faith and scholarship are integrated to advance constructive social change.
Individual students, faculty, staff, and alumni are free to hold their own theological convictions. While we do not compel uniformity of belief, we affirm together the following shared commitment to a Christian worldview:
We affirm the inherent dignity and worth of all people as created in God’s image, the reality of sin and its effects on humanity and the world, redemption through the incarnation, death, and resurrection of Jesus, transformation by the Holy Spirit, and hope for the renewal of all creation.
We recognize and respect the diversity of convictions represented among our stakeholders. We express these commitments not as a litmus test of theological agreement, but as a clear witness to the faith of the institution’s founders and stewards.
